Terms and privacy

Last updated: 5 November 2026

1. Who provides the service

EVSOUND is provided by ITPOINT - Tecnologia e Marketing, Unipessoal Lda., a company registered in Portugal, VAT number PT516275542 ("we", "us"). Contact: info@itpoint.pt · +351 221 450 765.

2. What EVSOUND is

EVSOUND is a web app that plays combustion engine sounds in real time, from the vehicle's speed measured by GPS or from a test mode. Some engines are recordings of real engines made by us, played back at the virtual engine's speed; the others are synthesised. Engine names describe a type of engine, not a make or model. EVSOUND is not affiliated with any vehicle manufacturer.

3. Responsible use

4. Location

GPS drive uses your device's location only to work out your speed, inside your browser. Your location is not sent to our servers or stored.

5. Free use and subscription

Each device gets a limited amount of free engine time per day. A subscription gives unlimited engine time while it is active. You can pay monthly or yearly. Either way the subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and the same card is charged, until you cancel. The price, including VAT, is shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Revolut; we never receive or store your card details.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the period already paid. If you are a consumer in the EU you have 14 days to withdraw, except where you expressly asked to start using the service within that period and acknowledged that you lose this right.

7. Liability

The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee that it works in every vehicle, browser or network condition. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage resulting from misuse of the service.

8. Privacy

We are the controller of the personal data EVSOUND processes. We keep it to the minimum:

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing, by writing to info@itpoint.pt. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD, cnpd.pt).

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. For consumer disputes you may use an alternative dispute resolution body or the Portuguese online complaints book (livroreclamacoes.pt).
